Raymon White has been involved with the political and governmental process for more than a decade, including a majority of those years in Georgia. He currently serves as a principal with Georgia Public Strategies, Inc., a public affairs firm he founded six years ago.
White has built his government relations career with a healthy mix of government, political and private sector experience and developed his political prowess through grassroots campaign involvement and countless election campaigns spanning more than 10 years.
Since founding Georgia Public Strategies, Inc. six years ago, White has served as a contract lobbyist representing a wide range of business interests before the Georgia General Assembly, Governor’s office, statewide elected officials, state agencies and others.
With first-hand knowledge of the political process, White has delivered reliable results-driven advice, insider knowledge and countless victories to a wide range of corporate, association, non-profit and public sector clients.
In less than six years, White has quickly emerged as one of the top public affairs consultants and political operatives in Georgia. During his time in the Peach State, White has represented some of the top businesses and business organizations, served on the finance committee for the re-election of Governor Sonny Perdue, as a Georgia Delegate to the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York City, and as an advisor and fundraiser to numerous campaigns.
Prior to moving to Georgia, White developed strategic insight into the way government operates while serving as an aide in the administration of former Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist for more than five years. During his tenure with the Sundquist Administration, White served the Commissioner of Transportation as special assistant where he was a liaison between private industry and government agencies on various construction projects and a liaison with federal, state and local elected officials and trade associations on behalf of state government agencies.
Before joining the Tennessee Department of Transportation as a top aide to the Commissioner, White worked as a campaign aide for the Sundquist Gubernatorial Campaign, on the Senatorial Campaign of Bill Frist, and for Congressman Jimmy Duncan (R-TN).
White is a member the American-Swiss Foundation and an alumnus of the Young Leaders Conference of the American-Swiss Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political Science and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
